Dear Sisters and Brothers:

            You will find below our Report on Parish Financial Matters for the 2007-2008 fiscal year.  Please take a few moments to review this document which shows all the revenue our Parish has received as well as the expenses we have incurred in the past year.  The Report is presented in a layout that is easier to read and understand.  Should you have any questions on any part of the report please do not hesitate to contact the Finance Council through the Parish Office.

The Parish Finance Council and I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued generosity in these very difficult economic times.  Your response to the May “Yellow Envelope” appeal was truly outstanding.  The $89,000 contributed by parishioners enabled us to almost completely eliminate the sizeable deficit we were facing earlier in the year.

This report also describes our parish efforts to respond to the needs of the poor and oppressed, made possible by the many acts of Christian love extended by St. Mary’s parishioners.   I am also confident that as the implementation of our Stewardship program unfolds, many more of you will participate in our efforts to strengthen our parish.

            With your ongoing financial support, St. Mary’s will continue as a vibrant “Christian Community in the Roman Catholic Tradition,” celebrating the Sacraments prayerfully, and extending our hands to our brothers and sisters in need.  May God continue to bless you and your families with peace and love.
